How Canada Shipping Works
- Freight Quotes at Time of Order
Because freight rates vary by province and distance from our distribution centers, all shipments to Canada require a custom freight quote.
- Quotes are based on weight, pallet count, and destination.
- Final freight costs are confirmed before order approval.
- Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Canadian orders may be subject to the following:
- GST/HST and any applicable provincial taxes
- Import duties depending on product classification
- Brokerage fees from the carrier
As a thank you to our Canadian customers, WBI covers the duties and brokerage fees.
- Required Documentation
WBI provides all required export paperwork, including:
- Commercial invoice
- Packing list
- Country-of-origin details
- HS codes for product classification

Shipping Methods
LTL Freight (Most Orders)
Panels are shipped on pallets, fully wrapped and protected (Not weatherproof or weather resistant).
- Curbside delivery is standard.
- Liftgate service is available in most regions.
- Residential deliveries available
Full Truckload (Large Projects)
For larger builds or multi-home packages, FTL service may reduce cost per pallet and simplify logistics.
Estimated Delivery Times
Transit times vary by region, carrier, and customs processing. Typical ranges:
- Western Canada: 5–10 business days
- Central Canada: 4–8 business days
- Eastern Canada: 5–9 business days
Customs clearance may add 1–3 days, depending on the carrier and volume at the border.
Order Preparation & Lead Times
Most panel systems ship within our standard production timelines.
- Stock panels: Typically ship within 5–10 business days from the date of payment
- Custom panels or large orders: Quoted at time of order
You’ll receive tracking updates as soon as your shipment departs the warehouse.
Receiving Your Shipment
To protect your investment, please:
- Inspect pallets at delivery
- Note any damage on the carrier’s paperwork
- Report issues to WBI within 24 hours
Panels must be stored indoors, dry, and protected from weather during the remainder of construction. (40-90 degrees Fahrenheit)
